How the mighty have fallen. 2 reviews so far and they been average at best. Midnight launches are usually based on the amount of preorders a game gets. If they're low, than don't do a midnight launch. Doesn't look good for GT.
Good review. Looks like this guy put some time in this game. Sure is gonna piss off some sony fanboys in here but at least this guy actually played the game. Looks like I was right about all the graphical issues like the clipping and the jaggies. Add the fact that only 200 cars are actually the ones you want to drive makes this the worse GT yet. Is this Initial D??? Looks like a good game if you like Japanese cars and the whole Japanese thing. Not a good game if you like a variety of vehicles like American muscle cars or German beauties like the Porsche.

The gaming community doesn't care about the Killzone franchise. It's a small franchise. It's just another shooter lost in a sea of shooters. Games like COD and Halo Reach are alone at the top of the mountain.

There you have it folks. The majority of cars in GT5 have ps2 graphics. Looks like PD did this to sucker the fans to thinking there were really 1000 cars!!!! Seriously, who wants to drive a standard car? And look at that horrid AI??? WOW. What a disappointment. Where are all the reviews? Wow how times have changed. The ps2 completely dominated the Xbox and the Gamecube. Now the ps3 is in last place with the Wii completely dominating.
And Forza 3 has twice as more and in most cases more detailed in car view with better crash physics. All in twice the development time of GT5. Wow! Face it folks. GT5 isn't delivering what was promised. 1080P? Nope upscaled. 1000 cars? Nope, tons of duplicates. They even counted the same car twice if it was a convertible. There's like over 100 Nissan and Skyline cars. Not to mention the crap list of cars.

Sony is known to have bought reviews for their products and/or have their products heavily supervised. I expect the same with this game which is their precious white horse. Sony wish they were as successful as Microsoft. Crap cell phones and in the middle of the pack in tv excellence. Speaking on the gaming division, the 360 has been a wildly successful and profitable gaming machine. On the other hand Sony has lost billions on the ps3. Much more than the original Xbox. Oh how the tables have turned. Sony has been getting its butt kicked left and right this gen. :)
